Supervisor
Supervisor accounts are for people who manage a workshop — triaging incoming requests, scheduling and assigning work, overseeing technicians, and keeping maintenance moving. Supervisors can also carry out maintenance themselves, completing work orders and recording their own Technicians Report in the same way a technician would.
Homepage
The homepage for Supervisor accounts is the Workshop Dashboard. The dashboard organises workshop activity into panels so you can see what needs attention, what is in progress, and what needs following up.
The panels most relevant to supervisors are:
- Triage — incoming requests and unassigned work orders that need a decision before work can begin. Review what has come in, assign it to a technician, and set expected dates.
- Current Activity — the full pipeline of active requests and work orders across the workshop. Filter by status, date group, or assignment to focus on the work you need to manage.
- Outstanding Items — work that may have been missed or needs following up, grouped by Expected Completion date.
Use the Dash Configuration panel at the bottom of the dashboard to adjust which panels are visible and which workshops are loaded.
Requests
Requests are how maintenance work enters the workshop. A request may come from a Daily Driver fault, an operator reporting an issue, or be created directly by a supervisor.
From the dashboard or the Request List, you can create new requests, set priorities and expected dates, assign a technician, and progress them through to completion.

Work Orders
Supervisors create work orders, assign them to technicians, and close them once complete. Supervisors can also complete work orders themselves — recording the Technicians Report, capturing materials used, and marking the work order complete — as they often act as mechanics alongside their management responsibilities. Work orders that require sign-off are flagged in the Supervisor Review Required filter in Current Activity.

Work Scheduler
The Work Scheduler gives a calendar view of scheduled maintenance across the workshop. Use it to plan upcoming work, identify scheduling conflicts, and move work orders between days or technicians.

Time Recording
The Time Recorders (last 7 days) panel on the dashboard gives a quick view of time logged against work orders. Supervisors can review time entries for the whole workshop or filter to individual staff.

Preventive Maintenance
Supervisors manage preventive maintenance service schedules for their workshop — reviewing upcoming services, actioning service requests as they are generated, and ensuring services are completed on time.

Other Tools
Supervisors also have access to:
- Asset Booking — book a pool vehicle from the booking calendar, accessed via the navigation menu on the dashboard. See Booking an Asset.
- Daily Driver pre-starts — complete a Daily Driver check sheet before using a vehicle. See Completing a Daily Driver.
- Plant Hours — record plant hours against assets. See Recording Plant Hours.
