Oil Sampling

Oil sampling results are recorded in Formbird FLEET through questionnaires on Work Orders. The Oil Sampling questionnaire can be added to any Repair Work Order where the selected Repair Type has it configured.

Recording an Oil Sample

  1. Create a Repair / General Request for the applicable asset.
  2. On the Request, create a Repair Work Order.
  3. Select a Repair Type that has the Oil Sampling questionnaire mapped to it.
  4. Scroll to the Questionnaires panel on the Work Order.
  5. Open the Add New Question dropdown and select Oil Sampling.
  6. Complete the fields on the oil sampling record.
  7. Save the changes using the Save Tick.

Viewing Oil Sampling History

Completed oil sampling questionnaires for an asset can be found on the asset record by expanding the Asset History panel.

Configuration

By default, the Oil Sampling questionnaire is mapped to a set of standard Repair Types. To make it available for additional repair types:

  1. From the System Administrator Menu, open the Configuration dropdown and select Repair Types & Questionnaires.
  2. Open the Repair Type to configure.
  3. In the Related Questionnaires field, type Oil Sampling and select it from the list.
  4. Save the changes.

The Oil Sampling questionnaire will then appear on Work Orders where that Repair Type is selected.
