Journals

Journals are a custom financial integration available on request. They are not part of the standard application and are not linked from the application menu.

Three journal types are available:

Daily Transaction Journal

Generated daily. Captures the cost of plant hours and bookings, charging costs to the relevant account codes and crediting the asset's account code or allocation account codes.

Weekly Allocation Journal

Generated weekly. Charges allocation costs to the allocation account code and credits the asset's account code.

Workshop Journal

Generated weekly. Captures the labour costs of maintenance performed on an asset, charging the asset's account code and crediting a wage account code.

Accounting System Integration

Journals are currently integrated with Authority Altitude. Other output formats can be created to suit different accounting systems.
