Special Monitoring
The Special Monitoring panel on the Workshop Dashboard surfaces defect and general monitoring items that have been flagged as active — giving supervisors and technicians a single place to see issues that need attention across the workshop.
What Appears in Special Monitoring
Any defect or general monitoring questionnaire with Monitoring Active ticked appears in the Special Monitoring panel. These items are tied to specific assets, so only items related to assets managed by the loaded workshops are shown.
Items remain in Special Monitoring until Monitoring Active is unticked on the original questionnaire — typically when the issue has been resolved.
Viewing Special Monitoring
The Special Monitoring panel is one of the collapsible panels on the Workshop Dashboard. Expand it to see the current list of flagged items. Each item links back to the questionnaire where it was recorded.
Whether the panel is visible depends on your dashboard configuration. See Workshop Dashboard Configuration if the panel is not showing.
Active Monitoring on Work Orders
In addition to the dashboard panel, defect and monitoring items with Monitoring Active ticked also appear directly on work orders for the same asset. This means a technician opening a work order on a flagged asset can immediately see what issues have been noted in previous jobs, without needing to check the dashboard separately.
Creating and Flagging Monitoring Items
